How do I set-up a new app number?


Please check that you entered your mobile number correctly when first activating the app (without using 44), it must be a UK mobile number. You will receive an SMS message from the app with a 4-digit code (as long as you have a good mobile network connection for receiving SMS). To obtain your new number, please go to the ‘add numbers’ screen from the main menu. Here you can select to choose a mobile or a landline number. You have the option to subscribe on a monthly or annual plan. There is no contract, so you can cancel your subscription at any time. The app allows you to have upto 10 mobile numbers and 10 Landline numbers on your app account.




What type of numbers are available?


You can get landline or mobile numbers for use on the app: A landline is a description for a phone number specific to a geographic area, this may be a town or city. The mobile numbers are real numbers that accept calls and SMS.




How long can I use the numberz for?


The app numbers are provided on a monthly or annual subscription basis. When setting up your app and selecting your new number, you will have the option to pay monthly or, for a reduced price, pay annually. The number will be allocated to your app until your subscription ends or you delete the number from the app Settings screen. To end your subscription: Within the app, go to the ‘settings’ screen from the main menu, select ‘number’ where you will see a list of the app numbers you have. ‘Swipe’ left across the number and you will be able to delete it from your app. You should also cancel the subscription in your iTunes account as follows: On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: 1. Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store. 2. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen. 3. Tap View Apple ID. You might need to authenticate your Apple ID 4. Tap Subscriptions 5. Tap the NumberzApp subscription that you want to manage. 6. Use the options to cancel your subscription. Your subscription will stop at the end of its current billing cycle.”




How do I make calls or send SMS on the app?


To make calls or send SMS, you need to add credit to your app number. When you add credit via the ADD CREDIT screen, the purchase adds credit to your account and that credit is carried over month to month until used. The app will warn you if you are running low on credit. You can purchase credit in different set amounts, please see details on terms & conditions for call and messaging rates and how these are charged. Once credit has been added, you can make calls via the app CALL screen or send SMS via the MESSAGE screen. Using the app's Recent Calls list, you can reply to calls and your app number will be shown to the person that called.




Do the app numbers have Voicemail?


Each number you add to the app includes it's own voicemail box. To access your voicemail, ensure the app is running in the active number that you'd like to use and open the CALL screen. On the bottom right of the screen is the voicemail icon. Sleect this and the app will contact your voicemail box for that number. Here you can also create a welcome message and manage your voicemail messages.
